Jill Tracy

Founder, CEO and Chief Creative Officer

Jill is the Founder, CEO and Chief Creative Officer of BSTRO. She is a champion of ideas, building BSTRO to be a place where talented, engaged people come together to share strategies, insights and stories.

Since she started the agency in 2004, BSTRO has become a market leading digital agency known for developing engaging campaigns that create deeper connections between people and brands with a client roster that includes global consumer brands, leading health and educational institutions, and innovative non-profit, arts and cultural organizations.

Before founding BSTRO, Jill developed brands, marketing communications and campaigns for Silicon Valley startups and Fortune 500 corporations. Her 20+ years of marketing experience has helped her develop a keen understanding of business objectives: Jill has been the client. She recognizes what is expected of agency partners and manages BSTRO to exceed those expectations.

At a personal level, Jill has been a strong supporter and sponsor of several community causes including Out in Schools, an anti-bullying organization that facilitates open dialog with students about LGBT youth experiences. Four years in a row, she biked from San Francisco to LA in the AIDS/Lifecycle Ride To End AIDS, raising tens of thousands of dollars for the SF AIDS Foundation.

Jill holds a BA in public relations from the University of South Carolina and an MFA in Graphic Design from the Academy of Art University in San Francisco. She lives in Vancouver with her partner and 10-year-old daughter.

Current Obsession:

Designing greeting cards, painting and doing pottery with my daughter and trying to keep pace with her unbridled creativity.

Best place to take visitors in Vancouver:

Jericho Beach. It’s my slice of heaven and I love sharing it with visitors to the city.
