Email Campaign Manager

The Email Campaign Manager is responsible for the day-to-day, hands-on execution of email marketing programs in support of Fortune 500 clients and progressive startups.

The Email Campaign Manager is responsible for the day-to-day, hands-on execution of email marketing programs in support of Fortune 500 clients and progressive startups. This includes ownership of the development, setup, maintenance, and review of recurring and triggered email communications to support business objectives. Additionally, this individual maintains a current understanding of email marketing best practices and applies them to the execution of various email campaigns in collaboration with the Account Managers and Clients.

Key Skills and Responsibilities

  • Develop stand alone responsive emails and email templates
  • Quality assurance of all outbound campaigns
  • Troubleshoots technical issues related to HTML templates, list segmentation and other aspects of email execution, as required.
  • Performs day-to-day email marketing activities including, but not limited to, email campaign set-up, scheduling, testing  and deployment of one-time, recurring, triggered and dynamic content-driven campaigns
  • Surface strategies to grow subscription lists and minimize list decay and unsubscribes
  • Measure results, create reporting and suggest strategies to continually improve future email campaigns
  • Manage multiple clients, campaigns, project tasks, timelines and deliverables
  • Help clients gain insights into their business and customer behavior based on metrics and past campaign data
  • Provide clients with tactical recommendations on a variety of topics including creative, deliverability, data hygiene, privacy, segmentation, testing strategies, etc
  • Optimize email marketing campaigns and programs. Develop strategic recommendations for improved performance of client’s email marketing initiatives
  • Stay abreast of and recommend email marketing best practices with coding, design and testing of email campaigns.
  • Develop documentation and road maps for processes, A/B testing, and promotions that succeed through email

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in email marketing: development, campaign management, analytics and reportings
  • Experience with email tools (ExactTarget, Hubspot, Marketo, Adobe Marketing Cloud etc.) highly desired
  • Current knowledge around email marketing opportunities and challenges including deliverability, creative, segmentation and modeling, privacy and data security, etc
  • Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem solving skills (including data mining)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including onsite presentations to large groups and marketers
  • Highly proficient in HTML, SQL Query, Excel
  • Good understanding of database concepts and segmentation
  • Ability to write queries and define new audience types
  • Strong initiative, high energy, and impeccable integrity
  • Well-organized, self-directed, and detail-oriented

Qualifications and Personal Skills

Full Time Junior Developer; websites, emails and HTML5 banners

We are seeking a smart, dedicated, and solution-oriented Web Developer to become a part of our team.

We are seeking a smart, dedicated, and solution-oriented Web Developer to become a part of our team. As a BSTRO Developer you will work with the development team on variety of projects. Anything from WordPress websites, Hubspot landing pages to responsive emails and HTML 5 banners.

The ideal candidate will be graduate from a Computer Science (or relevant) degree with passion for all things Web. You will be working on multiple projects, switching from assisting with building full fledged websites to coding HTML emails and banners from scratch. As such this job posting is more suitable towards a candidate with strong programming and web fundamentals, flexible and able to adapt as per what the situation calls for.

This entry level role is ideal for a candidate who has experience with developing web solutions and wants to continue to learn and grow professionally in a fast paced agency environment. This role is onsite at our Vancouver office.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain new and existing responsive HTML and CSS standalone emails and email templates using best practices and optimizing for desktop, webmail, and mobile email clients
  • Setup and test emails from within ESPs
  • Test and troubleshoot technical issues across desktop browsers, webmail, and mobile email clients
  • Create lightweight, fully animated HTML 5 banners
  • Setup and test HTML banners on different Ad-serving platforms
  • Take beautifully designed PSDs and transform them into pixel perfect responsive websites that works across all major browsers.
  • Create and maintain new WordPress websites
  • Assist with email campaign reporting

Key Skills

  • Thorough knowledge of W3C Compliant HTML & CSS (including CSS3 and HTML5) and JavaScript
  • Must be fluent in HTML and able to write nested table code by hand for emails
  • Ability to translate design files into pixel-perfect HTML & CSS that works across all major browsers and devices
  • Experience with responsive websites and techniques
  • Intermediate PHP programming skills
  • Intermediate MySQL and/or MsSQL skills
  • Strong Quality Assurance skills — able to review your work and thoroughly test code
  • Able to document your code and programming structure in a concise and easy to understand manner.

The Digital Production Artist collaborates with the creative and account teams to create digital assets for clients across the agency. This position requires rock-solid skills in Adobe Creative Suite — especially Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign — as well as an understanding of the fundamental principles of design.
