Industry veteran Richard Brewer-Hay appointed to senior management team
San Francisco and Vancouver, February 27, 2014 — BSTRO, a leading digital marketing and branding agency, today announced the appointment of Richard Brewer-Hay as Vice President of Content and Social Strategy, a new position established to better service the company’s current clients and to lead new integrated initiatives devoted to brand engagement.

Prior to joining BSTRO, Brewer-Hay led global social media efforts for StubHub. He previously spent five years as chief blogger and the head of corporate social for eBay Inc. where he led social conversations with the company’s customers. In 2008, he enabled eBay to become the first Fortune 500 company to live-blog financial announcements and earnings calls via Twitter and delivered social media training to the eBay Inc. global workforce.

Brewer-Hay earned undergraduate degrees in English and Creative Writing at the University of Arizona. He currently resides in San Francisco with his wife Alyson and two daughters Quincy and Addison, where their home is known to friends and neighbors as the Elizabeth Street Brewery, which they open on weekends and serve the community as a true free, public house.
