ClymCast

Powered by Clym Environmental, ClymCast is a web application that allows laboratory employees to receive safety instruction relevant to their specific department and research area.

In theory, ClymCast was an exceptional application. In practice, however, its less-than-intuitive navigational design was causing a good deal of confusion among its users. So to make it easier for laboratory employees to use the web application to their advantage, Clym Environmental looked to B’stro for a new look and structure for ClymCast.

In our work for ClymCast, we saw the opportunity to reinvent a web application that allowed laboratory employees to thoroughly learn safety instructions quickly—so they could get on with their work in the lab. In addition to a visual redesign, we provided ClymCast with a complete data overhaul, rebuilding the informational architecture and organizing content in a more logical and easily navigable manner. While we were at it, we also redesigned the company’s logo, presenting to the world a more approachable, authoritative, and current Clym Environmental.
