Pamela Rivera

Account Supervisor

Juggling precise details and big-picture goals comes naturally to Pamela. She’s an energetic, skilled communicator who connects people to achieve a shared vision – and she does it all with an enviable sense of style.

Pamela joined BSTRO after three years at Universal McCann, where she provided communication, project management and coordination across all international markets for the Microsoft Xbox brand. In 2011, she planned a key business summit in just a few weeks – successfully overseeing content, budgets, communication and travel for nearly 50 global team members to convene in Amsterdam.

Prior to her role with Xbox, Pamela worked at OK! Magazine in New York, where she supported the executive team during a particularly stressful time in the company. She distinguished herself by keeping the editorial, sales and management groups organized and able to stay focused on their targets.

Pamela is also an experienced event coordinator who chaired the Program Board at her alma mater, the University of California, Riverside (where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration). She planned homecoming functions, concerts, special events, films and cultural activities. After graduation, she moved to New York City, where she helped to coordinate New York Fashion Week events, the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, Broadway premieres, and product launches for clients including Reebok and Canon.

Adding to the list of things to admire about Pamela, she’s a former competitive swimmer, avid traveler, rock climber, runner and accomplished baker. She even makes us cookies on a regular basis. If she wasn’t so darn nice we’d probably resent how amazing she is in all areas of her life. Pamela believes that teams function best when everyone aims not just to impress their clients, but also to amaze each other. We couldn’t agree more, and we continue to be impressed by Pamela on a daily basis.

Tool you couldn’t live without:

Whatsapp & Google Hangouts. With my move back to the Big Apple, it’s my source for keeping in daily communications with all my friends & family. I have weekly hangouts scheduled so I never feel too far away from home.
