Christine CarlinAssociate Creative Director
It seems no deadline or crisis can flap Christine’s unflappable demeanor. She’s calm, cool and efficient in every situation – a welcome trait in the agency world.
After finishing a degree in Communication Design from the University of North Texas, Christine cut her creative teeth at several Dallas-based design studios. She has worked on comprehensive design projects in print, web and digital, with a special focus on startup businesses and new ventures. She loves to develop complete identities and branding solutions for clients big and small.
Christine also has experience in packaging and product design, including a line of natural cleaning products with a custom symbol set she developed for the labels. She’s a big-picture thinker who excels at finding visual solutions to creative challenges, and then sees them through to the finish line. Christine’s also an expressive, nuanced illustrator who loves to draw and play with original typography.
On the flip side, Christine is eager to push the digital envelope with responsive design, mobile web and parallax scrolling sites. She embodies the hands-on BSTRO ethos, where new ideas quickly move from sketches, photographs and even culinary creations into full-on client campaigns.
Every day, we marvel at Christine’s strong work ethic – and precisely packed lunches. Her bento box meals are always camera-ready and organized to perfection. We assume they’re also nutritionally complete. It’s just her style. She’s also a self-confessed “cat person” who grows her own fruits and vegetables and loves exploring the Bay Area by bicycle with her husband. (The cats usually stay home.)
